The Kindertagespflegebörse is a regional institution in Göttingen that helps parents finding a child care minder to take care of their children. Parents can contact us during our open office hours (Tuesday from 9:30 to 12:00 am and Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm) or make an appointment with us and we will try to provide a child åcare person that fits perfectly their needs. In case you come from abroad and are not yet in town you can alternatively call or e-mail us and we can offer assistance in finding a suitable person in advance.

There are two options of child care: First, you bring your child to the child minder’s household or to rented rooms where then the child minder takes care of your child. There, the child minder can take care of five children at the maximum at the same time in a very familiar atmosphere. Second, the child minder comes to your house and takes care of your child, like a nanny.

In addition to matching parents with child minders directly, we also offer companies to cooperate with us in providing child minders for their employees. For example, we cooperate with the Klinikum and the Georg-August-University of Göttingen. For these employees and students we offer special child care services. For example all employees (excluding the medical faculty) and students of the University enjoy the privilege of being able to get financial aid in engaging a child minder in emergency cases, such as the regular institutional child care breaks down or the parents attend professional meetings during off-hours or the child is sick.
